Eggs

Today has been a very exciting day at Brookwood Shire. We are busy preparing for the big storm that is coming. I am trying to finish raking the leaves that have fallen so they don’t clog the storm drains. I am sure there will be plenty more leaves to rake after the storm!
I have been checking the girl frequently after yesterday’s agitated behavior.

Brianna continues to “nest” in her sleeping box. The others are noisy and in the coop.

Well, imagine my delight when I checked a bit later and found this.

Not one, but TWO eggs! I do not who else laid. Brianna laid one I am sure, but I do not know who laid the second. They are CLEVER girls!

Isn’t nature wonderful?!

Congratulations, they are beautiful eggs, certainly worth the wait. More to come. I can’t wait to see if you have a blue or green egg.
